Join Us in Welcoming Michelle Mechem to the Intown Area Homes Team

Please join us in welcoming Michelle Mechem to the Intown Area Homes team!  I have personally known Michelle for over a decade.  She is passionate about life and that passion permeates through to her career as well.  Michelle will be a Listing Partner with Intown Area Homes and will be focusing on helping sellers not only get the most amount of money for their home, but also enjoying the process.

Read below to hear what she has to say about real estate and Atlanta.

An example of how Michelle lives her life with passion. She just finished a half marathon and has a smile on her face.

What do you think set you apart from other real estate agents?

What sets me apart from other agents is my ability to listen; not only for what is said, but for w

hat is unsaid. This allows me to guide my clients to an outcome that is most beneficial to them. I also have a vast knowledge of the Intown neighborhoods. How the city developed historically has an effect on the trends for the future. Clients have told me they feel I truly have their best interest in mind and I do.

When you’re not selling real estate, where are we likely to find you?

When I am not selling real estate you will find me walking (an average of 25 miles a week.) I love how many trails this City of Trees has to offer. You may also find me wandering through the local shops and restaurants or taking in live music at a local venue or festival. I love to travel, which includes on the motorcycle with my husband Rob. In the past year we visited both the mountains and the beach. We also rode over 2,000 miles round trip to my high school reunion in Western New York.

What do you love about Atlanta?

What I love most about Atlanta is it is a city of “villages.” Each Intown neighborhood has its own business district or city center. There may be nearly 7 million people in the metro area, yet when I walk in the pizza shop at the end of my street they say “hi Michelle” and hug me.
