All About Marvin Gaye

June 7 -9, 2019

Pride & Joy: The Marvin Gaye Musical tells the story of the great American singer and songwriter Marvin Pentz Gaye and his passionate relationship with Anna Gordy, featuring 28 of his songs at Fox Theatre.

Cemetery Music Festival

Tunes from the Tombs features a dozen local bands playing all genres of music in and among the monuments, mausoleums, and gardens of Oakland Cemetery. Food trucks and beverages are available, plus kids’ activities. Children under age 4 are free.

Food That Rocks features samples from 20 local restaurants, live music, and a tent with wine, beer, and cocktail tastes in Sandy Springs for age 21+.


Car-Free Streets

June 9, 2019 – Cross-city

You can walk, run, or bike down the middle of the road during Atlanta Streets Alive, which offers free entertainment and activities for all ages on three days.


African-American Music & Parade

June 14 – 16, 2019

Juneteenth is a free three-day music festival with vendors and children’s activities at Home Depot Backyard. On Saturday, a parade leaves Gordon Terrace SW at 10 a.m. and follows MLK Drive to the festival. The festival ends Sunday night with fireworks.


Hip Hop Show

June 15, 2019

Birthday Bash ATL will be held at State Farm Arena.


Summer Beer Festival

June 15, 2019

A ticket to Atlanta Summer Beer Fest includes samples of 200 kinds of beer, wine, and cider, with live music and food for sale at Historic Fourth Ward Park for age 21+.
